MRI Results...

My MRI results looked great! There may not be very much damage which is a big relief. I’m hoping the only decision will be how long I can put off the arthroscopic surgery to correct the impingement. It will continue to rob me of things I love, chasing the kids, riding a bike, pilates, yoga, etc.

However, I have to weigh the loss of activity against the risk of surgery, time of recovery and the dread of facing yet another surgical procedure and time spent in a hospital. In addition, deciding to do both hips or one at a time a few years apart.

The steroid injection is kicking in and the relief is wonderful. My back however is still bothering me and the left hip, but hey I got one major problem checked off the list for now I guess. I go back to Dr. Looney in two weeks. He will have a better idea of where to go from here after seeing how well the injection works. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for checking in.
