To make a long story short my surgeon canceled my hip scope 3 days before surgery becasue he read on my med history my reg dr. had me on Tramodal for pain.&lt;br /&gt;He said it was a form of a narcotic and will not do surgery for 3 more months!  His thoughts were he wanted precise pain levels and Tramadol can actually magnify my pain????? I have been able to pick the baby up when ...</title><summary type='text'>Louisa,&lt;br /&gt;I have been able to pick the baby up when I have to, but not much.  It doesn&amp;#39;t feel good that&amp;#39;s for sure.  I was told that there&amp;#39;s really no way to know how people are going to progress because it is so different from one to another.
